Custom glass products are our specialty here at EASTAR. We provide customer with glass bottles manufactured in various shapes and specifications for any number of products. As the custom bottles are typically integrated with the brand element, they can better display the charm of the brand and draw the attention of the consumer. We employ a professional design team to independently develop production plans for customers to choose from.
We can provide all kinds of glass bottle packaging for the wine industry, beverage industry, cosmetics industry, food industry, pharmaceutical industry and other industries, with the capacity ranging from 5ml to 10L. Optional glass bottle colors are transparent, milk white, brown, green, blue, black, etc. Bottles can also undergo of all kinds of surface treatment services such as silk-screen printing, coloring, sand blasting, engraving and so on.
The EASTAR factory is staffed by over 1000 employees and features an annual production capacity of 100,000 tons of glass products. We operate in strict accordance with the ISO9001 quality management system. In order to optimize the production of high-quality glass products, we have introduced 3 sets of computer-controlled furnaces, 10 IS machine lines, 2 pressing machine lines, and 1 manipulator line. We also have several post-processing production workshops which can be used for frosting, spraying, painting, baking decals, printing, screen printing, and other surface treatments for our bottles.
Our glass bottles are made from a mixture of raw materials. We combine limestone, sodium hydroxide, sodium carbonate, and other natural minerals. After the raw materials are delivered to our factory, they undergo strict inspection. Once qualified, they are added to our mixers to mix evenly according to our formula.
We also use recycled glass bottles that are melted down and reprocessed. This is a less energy intensive process and therefore, more environmentally friendly.Melting
The prepared raw materials are heated to more than 1000 degrees Celsius, and some auxiliary materials are added to clarify to form a uniform, bubble-free glass liquid.Molding
After the melted glass passes through the discharge port, it is cut into blanks of the same size. The cut blank is transported to the molds through the diversion pipe to the desired shape of the glass bottle. We will replace these molds regularly as preventive maintenance to avoid damage which could lead to downtime.Annealing
Cooling shaped glass is a difficult component of glass production. Since glass undergoes rapid temperature and shape changes during the forming process, this leads to thermal stress in the glass, which will reduce the strength and stability of the finished product. In order to eliminate this phenomenon, glass products must be annealed after molding to prevent or reduce their internal stress.
If the bottle is cooled too fast, the glass is likely to break during the cooling process or during subsequent transportation and storage processes. To solve this issue, we put the glass with more than 500 degrees to a temperature controlled kiln furnace. In the furnace, the glass will be slowly cooled down to about 70℃ within 1 hour. Slow cooling eliminates internal stress in the glass bottle. The cooled glass bottles are then sprayed with a layer of polymer to prevent scratching.Quality Inspecting
Every glass bottle needs to be inspected before it leaves the factory. The inspection include: bubble inspection, the crooked neck inspection, inclined bottom inspection, inner and outer diameter inspection of the bottle mouth, anti-knock inspection, stress inspection, etc. Glass bottles that do not meet the quality standards will be recycled.Packaging
We provide bulk packaging and carton packaging for customers to choose from. Of course, we can also customize the packaging according to their needs.
